About Chiara Apicella
Chiara (she/her) is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and a Certified Transactional Analyst Psychotherapist. She works with adults, couples and relationships, in person at our Holborn clinic and online.
Her approach is integrative, grounded in Relational Transactional Analysis and informed by psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural thinking. That means sessions can look at what is difficult right now and at the older emotional patterns sitting underneath it.
People come to her with anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, identity questions, bereavement, stress and burnout, career questions and the effects of trauma. She has a particular interest in the emotional impact of living between cultures, migration, belonging and intersectionality.
Chiara works with LGBTQ+ clients, with people in non-monogamous relationships, and with people across different neurotypes, and aims to offer a space that is inclusive, affirming and responsive to different ways of experiencing and relating to the world.
She conducts sessions in English and Italian.
