About Spencer Joseph
Spencer is an integrative therapist who works across talking therapy and hands-on treatment. In one place he offers counselling and psychotherapy, acupuncture in the Chinese and Tibetan traditions, sports massage and injury work, and clinical hypnotherapy.
People usually come to him with anxiety, gut problems, back pain, fatigue or difficulty sleeping. Sessions start with a conversation about what is going on, and the approach is chosen from there rather than fixed in advance. He works with adults, including older adults.
He has more than twenty years of experience in well known Central London clinics and is also a specialist mental health mentor at University of the Arts London. His professional training spans counselling and psychotherapy, hypnotherapy, sports therapy, and both Chinese and Tibetan traditional medicine. It is rare to find that breadth of training held together by one practitioner, and it means the treatment can follow the problem rather than the problem having to fit one method.
